The Art of Giving: Filotimo Group Exhibition
Work: Concept, brand development, logo design, social media, website, event management
Y Studio created the concept of The Art of Giving: Filotimo Group Exhibition for AHEPA.
Filotimo: The Art of Life is a charity group exhibition celebrating Greek-Australian artists, bringing their talent into the spotlight alongside AHEPA, the philanthropic organisation that promotes Hellenic culture and raises funds for causes including medical research and support for those in need.
Filotimo is a Greek word with no direct English translation. It speaks to the love of honour, and the quiet duty to do right by your community, and that spirit runs through the whole exhibition: half of every artwork sale is donated to the ANU Centre for Personalised Medicine, supporting research into autoimmune diseases.
The exhibition brings together a rich diaspora of artistic voices, exploring shared histories and the enduring connection between Australia and Greece, and infusing contemporary Australian art with the depth of Greek cultural legacy.
Opening night: Thursday 5 November, 6.30–8.30 pm. Art, food, Greek snacks, coffee and good company.
In collaboration with AHEPA
